Is it supposed to be that way? Hacking a camera or a TV takes over a minute. Anything I can do?

best you can do is an additional keybind for hack mode that lets you hold to enter, release to exit. some find it annoying though

personally I rebind tab as hold to enter, and caps lock as toggle, then bind tab to an extra mouse key... makes quick scans really easy
