Hey, so I have a physical copy of cyberpunk 2077 pre-ordered but when it comes on 10th I won't be able to play it for some days because my connection is weak. But if I made a digital preorder, preload the game when it's available to do so and then return it so I can play it on 10th when game with activation code comes, would it work? I've read online some people do it this way but does it actually work?

It should be possible, because gog give you 30 days payback warranty! So you can preload and install the game! When your retail arraives you should backup the game, then ask the support about the refund! Activate the code not before you have your money!

Or you cancel/ send back your retail preorder!

on console each region midnight local time. preload thr dec 3rd 5pm cet on xbox and 2days prior to prelease on playstation.
preload for pc and stadia will be monday dec 7th 12pm cet on gog and 5pm cet on steam and eipc store. attempted summery of release timings. per site-> cyberpunk.net en/news 36815 global-release-timings
best i can tell thats 5pm or 6 cst for pc 7th to preload on gog

GoG usually only does refunds if you actually cannot play the game.
