I read that the GOG version can only be downloaded at the release day.

But the PS4 Version has a preload.

Why only the consoles?

Where does it say that only consoles get a preload?

The Witcher 3 got a preload on GOG, so i'd assume Cyberpunk will get one too.

when you purchase the pre-order on GOG, the game's page in your personal library says the release date is September 16. which means you'll be able to download the game beginning at some time on September 16, with it being playable on the scheduled date of September 17.

Now that the release is on November 19th, at least my GOG Galaxy 2 and through the web it shows me:

PRE-ORDER
THIS GAME WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR FULL DOWNLOAD ON NOV 19, 2020

Does not look like preload will be available, but I hope this information is subject to change.

The Witcher 3 was available to preload about 7 days before release, i suppose the same will happen for Cyberpunk 2077.

i think i got it. it shows the same days and hours as yours but you are in germany and i am in alberta canada so 12:01 am the 19th there is 4:01 pm on the 18th for me?

I think you are right. Germany is 8 hours ahead, so it's 24-8... 16:01. Yes, 4:01 pm on 18th for you.

If you go to your games shelf and click on the Cyberpunk entry it gives you the exact time it will unlock, you can work out the date/time (and time difference) that way- it should be the same for everyone.

If it's going to be anything like the Witcher 3 preload, it will be available one week before and on release date you will download some very small essential code to be able to start the game.
