Vertigoth: Patch 1.04 download from Galaxy fails as the first update ( it tells no enough space in your disk when i have more than 62 Gb free for a 600 mb patch), i tried to download this patcht directly from gog.com and when i try to install it, it doesn' work because "my version is not the right one" (???)
Yeah, you can't mix those apparently. I copied the game from Galaxy onto another drive, removed Galaxy uninstalled the game, and even when the game ran just fine, the update from the offline files wouldn't apply.

The patch copies the entire game, modifies it, and then copies it back into the main folder, so yes, you need more than than.

Was really hoping to wake up this morning to find this issue solved. My bedroom machine with my street kid run on it isn't networked so I installed the game via usb there and play my corpo game on my primary machine via the launcher. 362gb free on the bedroom drive and can't figure out how to not get errors on the patcher.

Starkrun: sound like you installed the game into C:\program files or on the C:\ drive.... have you run the patch as admin? have you checked to see if you can edit files in the install directory?

This looks and sounds like something trying to update on program files directory though.... thats a very special folder and should never be used for game installs. failing that you have permission issues or you are not an administrator account.
the game is installed in a personal folder in c:\ not in a protected folder.

Tee_Hee: Getting the exact same log and error when trying to update the offline installer files from 1.03 to 1.04 [patch_cyberpunk_2077_Build_3214677Change_4155897_v1_(43299)_to_Build_3217599Change_4158334_(43399)-1].

There is plenty of space on the drive and patch is running as admin as it wanted. However as soon as it starts and tells me it requires 6901mb of disk space to install the patcher freezes and is unable to be moved/closed etc for a few min until it advises to check the patch_log file.

I have tried rebooting the computer as well as redownloading the 600mb patch file again with no success.

TT_TT_TT_TT: The patch requires between 65-70GB free space to run sucessfully (lowest it might run is ~60GB). You only wrote "plenty" free space above
Plenty as in over 250gb free and it still doesn't like it.

Also continued to read on from here and yes the directory it is saved in has read and write permissions (and is not on c:) as well as it is attempting to update files at the correct install location.

4 hours? Why not try to uninstall then reinstall the game? Has anyone tried doing a reinstall of the game to see if that fixes the problem?

That will only prolong waiting time. The patch needs many hours to modify the game files.

I installed Cyberpunk 2077 through GOG Galaxy and tried to launch it, keeps giving me same error:: "Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined." Any ideas?

I hoped that would work for me, however still doing the same thing
Did GOG Galaxy update to it's latest version before downloading and installing 1.04? When Cyberpunk 2077 came out, it seems GOG Galaxy wasn't compatible with it so they released an update for GOG Galaxy to fix that.
