I tried to install the patch on PC and kept saying to check the patch_log.exe file.

No, i don't, and i have 692GB free on the disk.. i just don't know what to do, i tried to launch the patcher with admin, still the same error

Where did you find the patch log? It seems I have the same problem with my GOG Galaxy updater but it doesn't show me the log. The updating process stopped at 56% mark.

Mine was stuck at 57% for a little while. But I was doing some other stuff and letting it do what it needs to do in the background. And within about five minutes it was done. If you go to the Downloads tab you will see when it's "stuck" that it's installing the update.

Try restarting the computer and then verify/repair and it should update on its own (assuming you have just over 60GB free). If not, delete the cache folder and repeat.

You have to be very patient as it can take several hour to update, especially on an HDD (mine took around 4-5 hours). It seems stuck between 56 and 70 something, but just let it keep doing its thing.

If the computer hangs then there's a problem with your computer.

The patch requires between 65-70GB free space to run sucessfully (lowest it might run is ~60GB). You only wrote "plenty" free space above

Patch 1.04 download from Galaxy fails as the first update ( it tells no enough space in your disk when i have more than 62 Gb free for a 600 mb patch), i tried to download this patcht directly from gog.com and when i try to install it, it doesn' work because "my version is not the right one" (???)

sound like you installed the game into C:\program files or on the C:\ drive.... have you run the patch as admin? have you checked to see if you can edit files in the install directory?

This looks and sounds like something trying to update on program files directory though.... thats a very special folder and should never be used for game installs. failing that you have permission issues or you are not an administrator account.
