Hi

I have an Overwatch Legendary gun. I can't upgrade the gun anymore. It's not 'blocked', but just does not show in the, crafting/upgrade menu, all other weapons do, even weapons like 'Skippy' which is always 'blocked' from upgrading.

Have I selected a perk that removes the upgrade option for this gun.

I can go back to an old save, but it is days of game play lost.

The glitches none of us know the limit to, but I'll tell you what, I'd get cyber engine tweaks if I were you and just spawn another, and until then, watch this glitch reel, compiled TODAY.

You upgraded it to the maximum for your level. You can't upgrade infinitely, it has nothing to do with bugs and glitches or whatever some youtube grifter might tell you about it.

Everything you upgrade to the maximum and can't be upgraded any further gets removed from the upgrade selection so it's not clogged with stuff you can't do anything more with.

So why are other weapons that can't be upgraded because of level limit in the menu, but have a 'blocked' over the craft button?

because you haven't upgraded them to the max yet, but can't upgrade them more until you level up.

Oh, you are talking about level upgrades, not quality upgrades.

Named weapons can have more than level upgrades and as the previous poster stated, you cannot level up anything higher level than you are.

The game just does NOT tell you what level an item has been upgraded to.

Ok thanks.

I checked around, Cyberpunk Wiki and such. But found no reference to limits. And the Skippy gun has never been upgradeable and I'm level 37 but still showing in the menu. Hence the confusion.

If something has never been upgradable and you've kept it for many levels, it indeed may be a bug.

Skippy is a quest item/weapon.

Talking about, crafting - upgrades - choose the item, then selecting the craft button.

Skippy automatically scales to V's level and cannot be upgraded normally.

What you can do is upgrade its quality with the console in cyber engine tweaks.
You can't upgrade but you can craft epic and than legendary from one you have! Just go to craft and now you can craft Overwatch! But only once.

I have the same problem but I think it occurred because I upgraded the scope on the one I received from Panam. Up until that point i was continuously upgrading foe higher DPS. I hesitate to craft the legendary version since it will have less than half the DPS of my upgraded epic version
I know this is GoG and therefore PC gaming, and I am playing on console, but I figure more info is always better...

Okay, searched around a bit and still can't find a fix or a real answer, but here's more info that might help someone or maybe (if I'm very lucky) get me pointed in a clearer direction.

I have a purple Overwatch. After reloading many different saves (Xbox Series S), I have figured out that when my Crafting level went from 15 to 16, the Overwatch stopped appearing on my Upgrade menu. I have not maxed it out, and I am still able to craft the Legendary version of it (so the game still recognizes that it's in my inventory), but I have spontaneously lost the ability to Upgrade it at all.

To clarify further, I am not being "blocked" due to level or materials (as with other items that show up on the Upgrade screen, but are blocked from Upgrading due to level or materials requirements), the gun just simply does not show. I also did not upgrade the weapon between my Crafting skill being at 15 and it then going to 16. One save my Crafting skill is at 15, and the gun shows on my Upgrade menu. The other save (5 minutes later, presumably after dismantling a bunch of stuff and getting Crafting skill XP from doing so), the gun is no longer showing on the Upgrade screen at all.

Has anyone nailed down a cause or fix for this?

Seconding this on PC: it's not that it's blocked from having hit the max level or max quality.

Overwatch simply doesn't appear in the crafting upgrade menu whatsoever. Every other gun appears, but Overwatch doesn't, preventing further upgrades.
