I've just read the news about it.

I don't think so is this a good idea.
If the only one possibility where you can see your face is the mirror,
the Character Editor is no longer nessesary at all.
And also stores, where you can modify your outfit and appearance.
Dunno, but I think it looks like cutting the production costs.
More immersion (?) in exchange of Character Animations.
How do you want to show V's emotions by other way?
By displaying the System Status on HUD?
I would rather wait longer for the release.
The best option would be the switcher (FPP on/off),
even if it has to be the paid DLC, still better than nothing.

I'm not mad, I'm just worried.

Personally I don't care about immersion I don't put myself into the shoes of the character I created in game.
You are right what is the point of the character creator if you can't see all the work you put into creating your character?
Who knows what will change in 8 months but I am very glad I didn't pre-order it.
CDPR is slowly frittering away any goodwill I had for them.

I thought it was exclusivley an FPS from the start. Just more proof that CDPR are lazy hacks.
I mean why bother balancing classes when you can simply switch on the go whenever you want with no defined strengths or weaknesses like a real RPG , it's no fun cause challenge is bad. And the 2 genders? What's that. It's not like by the year of 2077 people still procreate and have babies , ugh gross /s
