Myajha: Apparently in the wisdom of CDPR, what it does is copy your game to a temp file, applies the patch, then deletes the temp file. So basically you're downloading the base game all over again, then applying a patch, then deleting the base game.

I have never seen a game patch this way before, but it's the most horrible way to patch ever. It's almost quicker to just delete the game and redownload it.
I had a 585MB download, why do you say that?

They Need a Proper Wardrobe menu so that I can put on clothing I walked out starkers outside and everyone got the shits!

The cops are WAY OVER PSYCHO in the game I tripped on some boxes and they all yelled out he's an EXTREMIST and start blowing me away!

jim_uk: The patch made my crashes worse, now they take the GPU with them switching my monitor off and forcing a hard reset of my PC to get it back, I'm done, I've asked for a refund.
Exact same issue with me. I did get the game working yesterday, but today I can't even get through the intro credits before I get a GPU driver crash (1070), switches off the monitor, freezes the PC where ctrl-alt-delete does nothing forcing a hard reboot. I will give it a few days, but I am thinking you have the correct resolution for this problem.

There are 2 files (offline installer) one is the bin file, the other is the exe. You need both then just run the exe

They really need a 'detailed info' aspect to the updater to show what it's doing - it appears stalled at a tiny amount, but the processes tab shows it's working and the available disk-space keeps changing as it copies files. Aaaand just as I type this, it goes from tiny amount to finished in a flash, lol.

How do I verify if an update has been installed? I checked update history via steam and nothing since September
