Hi there,

I am bought Cyberpunk 2077 through GOG directly.

And I am using GeForce RTX2080Ti, with all the graphics settings maxed.

But I found that my main character become very blurry (not sharp and have many corners coming out on the edge) when I see the main character in the mirror AND when I open the inventory system where my main character will be displayed.

This is even worse if I maxed out DLSS.

When I turn off DLSS, they all become so sharp.

But with DLSS turn off, my frame rate seems drop a lot, and not smooth at all.

What can I do? is this a bug or what?

Is anyone experiencing the same?
By DLSS maxed out, I assume you mean Ultra Performance, and yeah it's going to drop resolution while reconstructing the image to attain higher framerate. Auto is an unreliable setting as well. I suggest you use Digital Foundry's optimization guide and scale up or down from there. You want DLSS quality for the clearest DLSS image. It's recommended that you switch rtx shadows off and switch lighting to medium. Also the psycho settings are performance hogs with almost no impact on visuals. Good luck. Turning off film grain and chromatic abberation can also help with a blurry image.

Don't use RT, but I have heard from many people that DLSS makes the picture more blurry. How much more blurry? If it's very blurry that can potentially be an issue which can get patched out.

Do you suggest just turn DLSS off or switch to DLSS quality?

Depending on the DLSS level you choose

If DLSS auto, the picture is a bit blurry.

If DLSS max performance, SUPER blurry

DLSS is quality reduction technology. More DLSS means "sacrifice quality for FPS". It works by reducing rendered resolution and then upscaling the image.

The results you're reporting are expectable. Perhaps they should be less obvious if the game was better optimized, but still - you're getting what you've asked for.

So with GeForce RTX2080Ti, is that possible that I can run the same with high FPS ( or at least 60 FPS) with Ray Tracing without the help of DLSS?
Set DLSS to quality or balanced. I'll be fine enough.
