Pretender87: But people are complaining on the riddit more and more so it's time you tell us something about it CDPR! What's the deal keeping silence?
There was the weekend and they released an hotfix on friday, so I think they will probably start talking or announcing new patch / hotfix next week.

Nice to hear that! Lets hope they are listening to us :)
Brand new build I put together Friday and no matter what settings I use I can't get above 24-30fps on 1440p 144hz GSYNC display.

Other games run fine and get 100% usage on GPU and high CPU usage. In Cyberpunk I get 10-20% CPU and 5-20% GPU usage..

All latest drivers, newest Windows updates installed, v1.04 of Cyberpunk through GOG.

Specs:

Ryzen 5900x
ASUS X570-I Strix
Trident Z 32GB 3600mhz CL17
Asus TUF OC RTX3080
Samsung 980 Pro 1TB

Welcome to the club :) It's official now that this game is not working well on some AMD builds such as you and me have...

But as you can see CDPR doesn't even care about it. Money given, money taken and that's all folks!

What tool do you use to check the GPU usage ?

I did the test yesterday, I had at the same time the task manager and GPU-Z.

And the task manage told me my GPU was used around 2-5% most of the time while GPU-Z told me I was around 98%

MSI Afterburner with RTSS.
For some reason I can't post links, but there's a post over on reddit r/cyberpunkgame titled "Hey CD Projekt Red, I think you shipped the wrong config on PC. Here's a guide that shows you how to "unlock" Cyberpunk for possibly massive performance improvements." It seems the PC configuration file has the same values for PoolCPU and PoolGPU as the other platforms. Changing these values has resulted in huge performance gains for many. I haven't had a chance to try this myself yet, but it is worth a look.
Guys you should check this.

Not sure if it's the same problem, but with my 2080 Super and 3950x (hex edited the exe to take advantage of more of the cpu) no matter the settings, I can't get above 66fps. My main resolution is 2560x1080, but if I drop it to literally the lowest res and settings, framerate stays the same. DLSS doesn't make a difference either.

AZaph_gog: This seems to be specific to some configs. My RTX 2070 Super is hitting 80 - 90 % utilization. It's probably not going higher because ray tracing cores are limiting my FPS. CPU is about 30 - 40 % on my 3900X with 12 threads being used, but none at 100 %. I'm getting 45 - 70 FPS with ray tracing on, depending on the area.
You have an AMD CPU so performance will be crippled as CDPR doesn't like AMD for some reason or another as the game has been optimized for Intel-only!

Until they include a fix for it we will be stuck with shit performance!

What I did now was to apply the Hex edit like here:
https://videocardz.com/newz/cyberpunk-2077-gets-fps-boost-with-a-patch-for-amd-ryzen-cpus

Now CP77 is using all 24 threads and the game runs better.

Also make sure to try editing the file "memory_pool_budgets.csv" in main game folder/engine/config
like so:

WAS: PC
PoolCPU ; 1536MB ;
PoolGPU ; 3GB

Changed it to:
PC
PoolCPU ; 16GB ; (half your system RAM, or leave at least 4 GB for Windows)
PoolGPU ; 8GB ; (your amount of VRAM)

Looks like there's a bug that prevents hyperthreading (technically SMT on AMD) on AMD CPUs. You can either fix it with a hex editor:

https://www.pcgamer.com/get-a-23-percent-performance-boost-in-cyberpunk-2077-on-amd-cpus/

or use a mod to fix this for the time being:

I have already tried that and it did nothing in my case.

Did you run the game as Administrator? Saw that it made a difference for some ppl in the reddit thread.

And I have tried that as well and it did nothing in my case.

And just to make it clear, most of suggested fixes work only on older AMD processors or processors which don't have more than 8-12 cores. It's not going to work on 5950x and even on tom's hardware there is a test which proves that there is ate least 8% less performance than with the original exe file.
