"Dodge" doesn't work - default L CTRL, I get into the car and driving forwards and backwards doesn't work, default is W and S, but even if I change the key assignment - it doesn't change anything

I wrote about that before.

I too had the issue that when I first had to get in the car for the main storyline, it wouldn't move forward at all.
I shut down the game, edited the keys in the file, restarted the game, reloaded the checkpoint - and that did the trick for me.

Thanks for answer, but what I Should do when I find this file

{
"group_name": "/key_bindings/SettingsVehicle",
"options": [
{
"name": "vehicleAccelerate",
"type": "name",
"value": "IK_W",
"default_value": "IK_W"
},
{
"name": "vehicleDecelrate",
"type": "name",
"value": "IK_S",
"default_value": "IK_S"
},

I tried value IK_8 etc - but stil nothing

If I load another save, forward/reverse driving works normally.
Apart from that, remapping works fine for me. I can change the key settings - but it doesn't help

Try loading the checkpoint before the one you're currently using. That's what worked for me.
Maybe they pre-load some key info for the in-the-car script and save that alongside.
