As the title says. I don't mind seeing developer credits, what the engine is, or the 'work of fiction...' advisory once or twice, but I don't need to see it every time I boot up the game.

Anyone figured a way to skip all of those yet? Editing or deleting video files? I've tried playing around with some of the .archive files but no luck so far.

I am also looking for a solution on this. I see people on Steam use the "--launcher-skip" in startup. But I do not know how to fix this in the GOG Galaxy platform.
id like to know this aswell

i get it, they want to advertise their middleware etc

but once ive seen it, i dont need to keep seeing it for the entire duration each time i load the game.
I would like an option to skip intro videos too.

I been seeing them a lot, given the game seems to have a horrible memory leak.that crashes the entire graphics driver. :-(
Agreed. I think it would be nice if we could skip through them.
If you would put the video files externally to the .archive files, players could delete or move them and get around that problem independently. :>
Still no solution? :(

Really does need to 'ads off' option

Once is enough!
Yup, what the OP says.

Just drop me at the main menu.

Also, besides the videos, why do I have to press all these stupid keys/buttons just to get to the main menu?
I found this in UserSettings.json:

{
"name": "OpeningCinematic",
"type": "bool",
"value": false,
"default_value": true
},

And settings.json:

{
"name": "OpeningCinematic",
"display_name": "UI-Settings-Gameplay-Misc-OpeningCinematic",
"description": "",
"order": 2,
"is_visible": false,
"in_pre_game": true,
"in_game": true,
"update_policy": "immediately",
"type": "bool",
"value": true,
"default_value": false
},

I can make it show in the menu under gameplay, but changing that won't do anything, changing the value to false in the config file and the game refuses to run.

Seems to be hard-coded for now, which is a bummer since I hate these.

That first one is just for subtitles during the opening cinematic.

The second one I am unsure, I completely remove that portion and it didn't do anything. I think it's the actual cinematic intro movie, not the logo splashes. I can't find anything related to the logo splashes either :(
I found the actual video intro file.....
cyberpunk2077_game_intro.bk2

Problem is its inside an .archive file.....
basegame_5_video.archive

I'm not sure how to get the game to recoginize an extracted .archive file in an expanded folder structure however???

I suppose I could try putting in short, blank .bk2 files in place of the orginals then repack the archive.

I came to this forum to ask PLEASE let us jump directly to the main menu. After seeing the logos, warnings, and pressing SPACE to continue 1000 times I think I've fully experienced that part of the game. Please. Have mercy.

Yes, please let us skip the intros and while we are at it let us also skip the two sections of "Press x start", after a while it get's annoying especially when your game crashes frequently and you have to restart the game.

All the AD-screens and Healthcare info sucks really.
I realy dont need such indoctrination. You may want add the screen that stopping gaming and going outside is risky due of the corona pandemy? And please add the warning about high calorie nutrition and cigarettes smoking, i'm missing all these things.

Yes, adding a mandatory scroll bar for all these small juristic text, checkbox "i've read and understood and i will never sue Red" and a hCaptcha or reCaptcha to be sure that not a robot is skipping these dialogues can help you get in best relations with your customers if this has to be performed on every game startup.

While it certainly isn't ideal for reasons that I'll mention below, if you rename basegame_5_video.archive to anything else (like basegame_5_video.archive.orig , for example) and then start the game, it loads directly to the screen before the main menu. No intros, no waiting, no watching the same middleware advertisements for the 400th time.

In game, this has consequences, not the least of which is some videos no long display. However, their audio and subtitles do, so.. your call. :) If someone knows what software handles and/or creates .archive files, the suggestion to place an empty/blank .bk2 with the same name in place of cyberpunk2077_game_intro.bk2 would likely work perfectly.
