unfortunately, renaming basegame_5_video.archive will not save you any time in game startup. You'll just have a black screen and have to wait until the intro screen shows up.
This is supposed to work but doesn't.

--launcher-skip--intro-skip

Maybe a variation thereof?

Black screen is still better then repetitive healtcare & product indoctrination. I think the developers are smoking old tyres if they thinking people like this. I should get 1€/execution if they want to use my PC hardware for running this unskippable shit.
The developers should smoke the good stuff, then they remove this crap from the game when they see how annoying unskippable, repetitive indoctrination is.
The time they spend to hook this so deep into the game i wish they would have spend to make the game running smoother. I wonder why there is no option to remove this for an additional fee of e.g. 10€, this would be the compensation that the game has no ingame store.

vjek: While it certainly isn't ideal for reasons that I'll mention below, if you rename basegame_5_video.archive to anything else (like basegame_5_video.archive.orig , for example) and then start the game, it loads directly to the screen before the main menu. No intros, no waiting, no watching the same middleware advertisements for the 400th time.

In game, this has consequences, not the least of which is some videos no long display. However, their audio and subtitles do, so.. your call. :) If someone knows what software handles and/or creates .archive files, the suggestion to place an empty/blank .bk2 with the same name in place of cyberpunk2077_game_intro.bk2 would likely work perfectly.
Any idea how this is packed? I have tried to open with 7zip but it wasnt opening. If the archive can be opened it can be recreated without the ads and healhcare mothering.
I did this it does not skip the credits but the intro did not auto play.

That does not do it, and there is no way to skip it unfortunately
The answer why only CDPR knows, or the wind. Today unskippable ads and mothering, tomorrow DRM and microtranactions...

This unofficial fix has the feature to skip the intro video... but you still need to press spacebar to get to the actual main menu etc... Try it out i guess.

From what I understand this only skips the "breaching" screen where you need to press start/space. The unskippable splashes and warnings are still there.

The graphical tweaks for Linux sound good might build and try.
I wouldn't mind the unskippable intro if the game did not need to be rebooted as often.
I've never ever understand why developers for any games doesn't allow to skip everything.
Just imagine, you can run the game and the game load immediately from you left?
And, I'm not saying it have to be as some automated thing, just let the people do command line --skip-everything --start-game-you-left - this feature I dream each game I've run because each time this useless screens longer and longer and longer...
