Hello,

I have a question about the draw distance, especially when it comes to ground textures/shadows in certain weather scenarios. It seems to be really bad, I can literally see shadow-line drawing couple dozen meters in front of me (sometimes fluent, other times in choppy bulks).

Some examples (you'd probably have to download those videos, player is a bit low-res):

My question is:
1. Is this intentional, is this a problem with my hardware/settings/whatever, or is it intended to look this way?
2. If latter, then what tweaks/mods would you recommend to remedy that behavior (I've tried one LOD mod from Nexus, but it didn't help, at least not in that particular instance).

Also, this is not the only issue with lighting in general, I mean there are some places when standing still and simply moving the camera seems to affect shadows in a strange way, but that's a different topic.

Also: I'm playing on 3700X + 32GB DDR4 + R6950XT + Win10. Latest drivers and system updates, most settings on high/ultra, crowd density on low (heavily affected my fps), RT off, FSR off, ~80-120 FPS for the most part at 1080p.

I noticed something like this when playing yesterday, I was driving during heavy rain, it was also foggy, the pop in from the textures was really obvious.
I've tried this, but It doesn't seem like it changed anything; or I'm installing it wrong; or it is not compatible with 2.1 --> www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/416?tab=images

Also turning on RT doesn't make any difference.

Thanks for confirming, that this is not a problem with my specific setup. Let's try to narrow it down maybe, what's your GPU and OS (seen some reddit topic, where a lot of people complaining about pop-ins were supposedly on Radeons)?

My system specs are:

AMD Ryzen5 2600
Asus RTX 3060 ti (driver version 525.147.05 )
16GB Corsair DDR4
WD Black SN770 SSD 2tb

Linux Mint 21 (vanessa)
Launching the game via Heroic game launcher using proton version Proton-GE-Proton8-4

I don't seem to remember the issue persisting for long so maybe it's confined to certain locations on the map.

I've seen it pretty much everywhere, but maybe it just happens just in certain kind of weather (?).

I mean don't get me wrong, there are LOD/pop-in issues in this game, but nothing as bad as those places during the night. Also note, that all of my examples are just from one drive during the night, and I wasn't looking for it, I was just following the objective marker between the missions.
I have the same problem in any weather.
playing on 5800x3d +32GB DDR4 + 3080 12gb + Win 10, everything got latest driver.

I tried to turn on and of every setting. download every mod that could help, it's just doesn't work.

this freaking draw distance is only thing that stopping me from buying phantom liberty, to be honest
