WilliamFrost: I got this on a PS4 slim and I would like the game not to look like it's falling apart at the seams. I have tons of hours invested because of the world and original content, but the game is a technical nightmare. I don't think I have ever played a game on console that was this janky and busted from a development standpoint. How is it possible to do worse than the people that made that "rim" game? It has to be embarrassing.
When I drive whole sections of the city don't load properly. After the patch Jackie's mom's bar is one big bright white light, I can't even see the bar. Stuff like this would be my main complaint.
Of course, if they had sold and advertised it for "next gen. hardware", I wouldn't have a complaint, but since they advertised this almost 6 years ago for base consoles, one would think they would have done something to make it a bit better upon release. It has been almost 8 months from release and we get is a warning at the PSN store.
The boss guy of this company asked us to stick around and wait for the game to be better...waiting
wayke: All games on Console are Janky and Busted it's just covered up a bit better.
This is some inane reasoning. If it's covered up better that means it works better within that specific space, which means other games work better than this one.

frogthroat: I think that's the problem. They made promises 6 years ago and they have contractual obligation to keep those promises. But along the way the game grew bigger and bigger and got newer tech, and now the previous gen consoles are just way too outdated and there is no way to fix that since the hardware cannot be changed.
The game needs to be downgraded a lot to make it work on PS4 slim, if such downgrades are even possible.
It might be they have managed to trap themselves. Contracts say previous gen consoles must work but that is not technically possible. Might be they are screwed no matter what. Better code won't upgrade the hardware.
Anyway, good luck and I hope I am wrong.
The issues is knowingly growing the game beyond their actual space without telling anyone. I think the boss guy admitted to this after the fact. But this is not our problem. They offered refunds but then promise they were going to fix the game.
And yeah, It's a bit obvious they can't code a console into the next gen. I am not a professional but they seem to have a hard time coding in the console space. I think they might have been way out of their element on this one.
Thanks though and I hope you are wrong too, because I love the game underneath the technical Quasimodo. lol
