The GOG Galaxy overlay option is greyed out for the game's settings in the Galaxy client (manage installation > configure, it shows greyed out there, can't enable it and the Overlay support is globally enabled in my client), but the store page says it should be compatible.

Not sure if it's a known bug or something on my end, I'm not running any other overlays or anything, and it does load when launching other games like Witcher 3. I assume if this is not working I won't see any achievements pop up (which the game also supports), or perhaps they'll get registered even if I can't see them in game, for now.

Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, I just did a search with zero results for it.

Same here. No overlay, and no way to take screenshots.

EDIT: Latest GOG Galaxy update (v 2.0.29) fixes this.

HawkSE: EDIT: Latest GOG Galaxy update (v 2.0.29) fixes this.
Thank you for confirming that. I was looking for the same question.

My GOG Galaxy is still at 2.0.28.9 which is why it still not working but the 2.0.29 version is still not available.

I'll probably get it tomorrow

Did you try restarting Gog Galaxy? That usually triggers updates for me.

My GOG Galaxy just updated to this version and it does fix the Overlay, indeed. Weird that it didn't work for me, since I wasn't using any other streaming software or third party overlays, only Nvidia GFE / Shadowplay, maybe that was also an issue.

Thanks for answering, in any case! ;)

Thank you. I actually did it last night and today along with downloading it the install file and trying to manually update it but is still at 2.0.28.2.

I'm not worried at the moment as probably will be released on the next few days.

This is just a heads up for anyone else that is running into the same issue, just wait for now until the update is available for you.

Same here.

The say switch to test features mode and wait for the client to update to 2.0.31.

I've restarted the launcher and I'm still on 2.0.30 and waiting for it to figure itself out. It could take "some time" to update.

Insane.
I'm using galaxy 2.0.31 with public beta enabled, and was playing today, and overlay was working ok.
Then, I exited the game to lunch, and cloud sync has failed "Cloud sync is delayed due to a heavy load.... ".
Well, after that, overlay is not available in the game.
In the managem instalation -> configure, I tried to disable cloud saves, open the game, but overlay was not availabe.
Tried to close galaxy, open again, enter the game again, and overly keep not available.
Enable cloud saves again, it is still faling to sync, ovelay sill not available.
Then I closed the game, closed galaxy, restart PC, open galaxy, disable cloud saves, run the game, and overlay is back to work.

Exactly me too. Updating to 2.0.31 didn't do it initially even though everything was enabled. Had to do this (except I am using cloud saves with overlay now).

Cheers.

Same issue for me. Enabling "Test upcoming feature sin GOG Galaxy pubic betas" and waiting for the client to update to 2.0.31 fixed it for me.

Cheers.
