Hello, simple question: GOG manual or direct download is 104GB and Steam is only 60GB + 5GB of language pack (if you need it)? How come? Thank you. :)

I've been downloading the game on 10th and GOG Galaxy was downloading 59 GB straight to version 1.03. But i could imagine that steam may use more agresive compression rate and that's why download data may be smaller (or vice versa)

The GOG download is all the languages, so you end up pulling around 40 GB of files you won't use unless you change your language mid-game. Which, obviously, you could do.

It's not optimal packaging, for sure, but it's also nothing nefarious, nor does it suggest the Steam version is somehow "incomplete". Steam is just handling language data better, right now.

It's all the languages included - what could be done better is to segregate the language packs Witcher 3 style so that you would only download what you need.

not using the fine galaxy means 10 extra chunks of 4GB total 27, which is most nefarious
