Since yesterday it happens that when I start CP2077 after starting Gog Galaxy instead of starting the game the red launcher starts and from there by clicking play the game starts, I find it very annoying to have to use 2 launchers and if I only use the red launcher I find it extremely barebones and without objectives or cloud saves (I think), all these online features if I understand correctly are only active if you switch from gog galaxy and this means using 2 launchers to start the game, which is very annoying.
The only way I've found to bypass this is to start the game from the exe file but this way I still lose the online functionality.
What is happening? It was so good before...
If this is due to the migration to the new cd project red account I would like to know if from now on this will be the case and we will necessarily have to use 2 launchers.

The same thing happens to me.

In my case, I have always avoided using lauchers because I am not interested in saving games in the cloud. And now I find myself with this pseudo laucher that doesn't make me very clear what functionalities it has. It even mixes languages. I use Spanish and there are parts that are in Russian.

I can't imagine the surprise that those who bought the game on Epic or Steam must have found. What a dance of launchers they are going to have.

As you say, you can launch the game directly through the main EXE. Even you can manage GOG Galaxy to launch the game through this file instead of the new launcher. My question is, if we avoid using the new launcher, will we be missing something other than cloud saves?

Just tested yesterday, tested again today. I got the new launcher once, and that was a patch or two ago. Since updating to 2.12, I haven't had the double launcher issue.

You might want to verify your files in the installation. Sounds like something is still off.

Sorry I couldn't help you : / I don't know why it randomly launches the second launcher for certain people and not for others. Might be a privacy setting or something.
