I just wanted to know if I could make GOG launcher detect my cyberpunk game files if I copied them from a friend.

Sure thing, you can scan folders for GOG games.

the.smerch: Sure thing, you can scan folders for GOG games.
Somebody said on another post that they had something like 17 gog games and only 2 of them worked with this method, so that's what worries me.

You can always verify files through gog galaxy and repair them if something is not right or some file is missing or altered.

In GOG right click on game -> manage installation -> import folder.

Witcher 3 has this option, so I assume Cyberpunk will as well.
