I keep seeing people with a signal strength when looking for cabs. However, I have found 2 by chance and get no interface with the cabs. I have the radio or monitor thing for the cabs but I can't seem to get it to work. Am I missing something

You need to stay close enough to the cab until the signal strength hits 100, at which point it'll call you.

Archonsod: You need to stay close enough to the cab until the signal strength hits 100, at which point it'll call you.
But I'm not getting anything.. I was basically ramming the car.. Driving near the door and on the rear bumper. Nada..

try restarting the game.

Check the journal entry for that particular car and see if it's updated. Could be you missed the call
