digglorgog: Game crashes on startup here too on a GTX 1070 + Win 10. Doesn't even show the main menu. Game files are verified and i'm using the latest NVidia driver from today. Seems like the CrashReporter.exe is buggy which is used to launch the game.

It also throws that error if you launch "Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\CrashReporter\CrashReporter.exe" manually

The stracktrace.txt found in "%LOCALAPPDATA%\REDEngine\REportQueue" shows:

Message: Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! Callstack here is probably irrelevant. Check if Breadcrumbs or Aftermath logged anything useful.
File: e:\r6.patch0hotfix2\dev\src\common\gpuapi\src\dx12\gpuapidx12error.cpp(40)

Omdry: I have exactly same problem, GTX1070 + Win 10.
I am experiencing this very same issue as well, and I have a GTX 1070 with the most recent drivers as well as using Windows 10 as my OS.

Tried fresh driver install but not helping, any hotfix on the way?

syntaxx1989: FREE DOWNLOAD CYBERPUNK 2077
Why pay when you can play for free
www.youtube.com/watch?v=PbGPampDLIw
If everyone were just stealing the games, there would be no one left to pay the guys that make the games, and we would have no games. Is that what you wish??
gtx 1060 6gb if i want to start the game nothing happens and then gog says the game crashes you can send error report

alredy tried to turn of overlay ad run as administrator

"To run Cyberpunk 2077 you need a 64-bit Windows 7 or 10. Note, Windows 8 and 8.1 are not supported."

Well, that's just great.

Sorry, but that is why you always should check system requirements :)
on the positive note, there might be a chance that your windows 8 / 8,1 key still works with windows 10, should you decide to install that.

The system requirements only mention Win7 and 10, but Win7 support usually implies Win8 support. The key is the DX12 requirement which isn't available in Win8.

This worked for me

Right click on the game in GoG library and repair the game
I've got a theory I'm working on, for people who have the game working, are you guys using the offline installer? I've noticed that the steam users don't seem to be reporting issues as well.

Another thread mentions disabling 2nd monitor helps.

That doesn't work for me this morning. It downloaded 29Mb but still the won't launch anymore.

This is weird because I played during 2h for the first time. Then the game crashed suddenly. And since it rarely launchs...but crash quickly after. Twice I tried to create another character to play but it always crash before I even can save.

I don't have a send monitor and I don't use an offline installer.

Im having the same issues. Played for ~2 hours at release, went to bed and now cant play for more than 10 seconds if it even starts.

Repairing seems to let me start the game as long as i dont skip any of the into logo's and stuff but after being in game it always chrashes
