I am unable to start cyberpunk: it gives the "flatlined" error. When checking the report it complains about the unknown GPU error. Do no have any issues with any other games. Just updated the drivers to the latest from nvidia (1080) yet still unable to play.

I'm having the same issue.

Downloaded on steam, open it up and the launcher with my GoG account info comes up. Start it there and it immediately crashes with flatline error.

I restarted pc, didn't help, I updated to the most recent nvidia drivers, doesn't help, restarted again, and also verified integrity of files. No dice.
Same. If I manage to make it past the menu it dies immediately upon loading the game. What a joke.
Same with a 980, driver updated... but I'm on Windows 8.1 ... maybe that it ... ><
I'm getting the same error. I've tried restarting multiple times, disabling every overlay I have, I've updated my drivers, verified the game files multiple times and nothing works.

I also have a 1080, is it a GPU issue?

Im in the same boat. same error and ive tried all the things you guys have tried.
I also have a 1080...

i even went into the error report and found this in the "stacktrace.txt" file
"Error reason: Assert
Expression: commonFileLoaded
Message: Failed to load in-game config file from 'D:GOG\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\options.json'
File: e:\r6.patch0hotfix2\dev\src\common\redconfig\src\ingameconfigreader.cpp(449)
"
i went to see if the file was missing but its there.

My specs are:
Ryzen 1700X
16 GB RAM
1080 8Gb

I have downloaded latest and greatest driver from nvidia (it says Dec 9, 2020) and no dice. I am trying to go back in time with the drivers to see if this would help. I also did submit the crash report in gog.
win7x64
GTX970

Message: Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! Callstack here is probably irrelevant. Check if Breadcrumbs or Aftermath logged anything useful.

GTX 1070 here. lastest driver
Same here, and on Wind 8.1... What gives?
I'm affected by this. GTX 1070 with latest driver, Win8.1 x64.

Hey man, i have 1070ti and the same EXACT error down to "0xED5F70" and "0xC0000005". Except there's no line:0 at the end. It could be a 1070 bug from what it seems.
As i posted in the other thread, try disabling GOG overlay, havent tested this solution myself, as im half-way to installing the game again..sigh..

Let me know if this actually works
Got it as well.

Windows 8.1
GTX 1070, latest drivers
i7-6700k

First fix I found, and it didn't work for me.
