So originally I got the flatline crash with patch on my PC (was working fine day before patch)
So I read up and saw all mods had to be removed until they are updated
So did that and no longer got the flatline crash
Now I simply can not launch
Not from Galaxy
Not from Desktop

I click play or double click desktop and it hilites sync, then reads 0, then hilites sync again, then nothing
no error, no flatline crash, simply doesnt launch

So saw a few people say they had to uninstall and reinstall for it to work
So I did that
nope
Still just doesnt launch

I even tried to open task manager and find this Nih**** file to remove and I cant find it, if it exists at all on my computer

Game simply will not launch anymore for me

I gotta say
The ONLY trouble I have had with this game is the day you put through patches for the #$^%$#%^ console players.
That's literally the only time the game causes me any sort of trouble.

Guess I gotta wait for some type of fix from you to fix the console update yet again.

I am having the same problem. First I thought my mods were the problem. So I simply uninstalled the whole game, rebooted than reinstalled it.

CP2077 ran nearly flawlessly for me until last night.

Now every method I try to launch it crashes out with out loading or displaying anything except the failed to launch error.

Stacktrace shows the following:

Error reason: Unhandled exception
Expression: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
Message: The thread attempted to write to an inaccessible address at 0x48.
File: <Unknown>(0)

Exactly the same error for me.

The game does not start.

Please help.

Same here. I even reset the windows in the laptop to factory new... updated the drives... and still doenst launch

I just keep getting the "flatline" message. Never had mods installed. Uninstalled and reinstalled. unticked overlay in app settings. No joy.

Same here, I verified files integrity, I tried launching it through GOG or directly from within the game folder, it doesn't work.

This is how I fixed it on my system:

I removed all traces of Cyber engine Tweaks files and folders from Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 , also inside this folder I removed all files that weren't updated today.

Launched "verify/repair" again, when it was over launching within GOG finally worked again.

(of course if you got any other mods installed you should uninstall those too)

I have tried all troubleshooting but nothing worked for me expect Nahimic service. Disabled it and it was all good. I cannot post links here search in google Cyberpunk 2077 - EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION crash on launch. You should be able to find it

I cannot thank you enough for this advice! Disabling the Nahamic service worked perfectly for me and also sped up the loading of other programs on my PC.
This was the best piece of advice I've had all year.
