All I can say is wait for 1.61. 1.51 fixed issues for me that 1.5 gave me. This patch is lame and was clearly a consolation prize to console owners of the last gen.

So much that the changelog clearly states that some features are not available on last gen.

"Added more secrets in Night City to be discovered by players. Due to some technical challenges, this change isn't available on the previous generation of consoles."

Did they fix the bug where the whole open world feels shallow and empty ?

I never played but that's what Ive read in reviews and kept me off.

I have heard rumours of adding more (undefined exactly what) to make the desert areas more alive, but I don't know whether they have implemented that yet.

I must say, Jackson Plains and Rocky Ridge (the badlands in general) just feels dead. Having random AI vehicles just driving back and forth (because that is ALL every AI vehicle ever does) doesn't exactly add to the immersion in any way.
Well, looks like Jackie wants to cut me out of the gig at All Foods. THAT GONK!! He just hops the lift and leaves me on the bottom deck. GEEZZZ.... And I thought we were Top Chooms....

irrelevant. The patch still kills performance. I call all consoles last gen. That's why we're here...PC...not lame consoles. I'm tired of folks defending crappy patches. This game's performance just gets worse and worse.

I will hold off on the 1.6 update personally. I've learned there usually are new bugs introduced with every patch, and as I am currently running more mods than I can count, I don't want anything to break.

Currently playing on patch 1.5 hotfix 1 (so missing hotfix 2 and 1.6) and everything runs flawlessly.

Does it compare to today's gpus? Certainly not. If you love console and its equivalent 5700xt (2070 super) performance, feel free to play it. I can't be bothered with that mess. Point still stands patch kills performance. [Modded - insults.]

I rolled back to 1.5 as well. I'm just lucky I still had it. I don't think it can be downloaded anymore unfortunately.

This is why I buy my games here on GoG - so I can have a local copy of all the games and all the patches.
Loving the new content!! I just really started getting into it over the weekend, the entire game that is. So much to learn, but it's amazing so far! Thanks to the DEV's for all this hard work, this is a masterpiece!
Just giving a little performance test for the new patch. I'm not one to record much, so this was recorded using Windows capture. I'm not actually playing, but simply running around as quickly as possible to stress the card. I have to fps limit to 50 to get consistency. Still love the game, but I'm hoping this gets nailed down soon.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a great game, even in the PS4!
Still, even after patch 1.6, the riperdoc in the badlands does
not exist, and the same case happens with the fasttravel point,
that should be in the upper side of the badlands, but unfortunately, it´s not.
After all i´ve said, i still want to congratulate everyone that contributed
in the process of making this absolutely fantastic game. Cheers!

I'm glad to see the team at CDPR continues to make progress. Keep up the work!

However, I seem to have run into a new bug:
Crafted clothing mods aren't showing up for me.

I craft a Resist or something, then go to my inventory, click on the item of clothing, and nothing shows up in the item's mod list. Anyone else having the same issue?
