I can't crouch and scan things at the same time, my game instacrashes and a side menu appear on the left for a split second, followed by a game crash report. My dumbass did this by accident three times in a row and now I'm concerned i will lose more progress in the future because i keep accidentally hitting ctrl+tab. I really don't want to change these two keybindings for crouch and scan as they are in a good spot. Can i disable that popup thing that causes the crash or edit the keybind which triggers it to appear?

Ctrl + Tab sounds like a Windows hotkey issue. I've had a couple of those, though not with Cyberpunk (same issue with Windows Sticky keys).

Ctrl + Tab in a browser goes through all the open tabs (and here I thought I knew most hotkeys...), with Ctrl and Shift + Tab going through them backwards.

I don't know the cause of your problem (I'll check if that crashes my game too, right after posting this), but you have 2 other control options to do what you want to do.
You can press C to toggle between crouch and walk, together with Tab OR or you can press CAPS-lock to toggle scanning, together with Ctrl.

EDIT:
Well, I have tried Ctrl + Tab now, and I cannot get the game to crash no matter what I do. Pressing, holding, spamming...it works fine for me.

Here's something to try:
- In the Cyberpunk settings, set the game to Windowed Borderless (if you try pressing Ctrl + Tab now, you should at least see the brief pop-up message).
- Disable the Windows Sticky keys. Open the Windows control panel and search for sticky keys - turn off all of them.
- Go into Language settings, and under Keyboard Language, disable any hotkeys to change between input languages.

Hmm, i will keep that in mind. There is a fancy menu, not sure i seen it before, i think it's gog related but not sure
Do you have to hold ctrl to crouch? Can't you just set it to toggle rather than hold (this is normally the C key, but I can see the comfort of crouching with ctrl)?

I was having the same issue, changing my overwolf overlay hotkey fixed it, thank you. I didn't even realize that was a hotkey I had!
