Reminds me of the old days when Dragon Age: Origins previewed itself by releasing a character creator early so you could just load up one of your own premades on the release day proper. Man, those were the days.

releasing the character creator early would be pretty dope, albeit not likely.
i think the digital preorder goods would be cool to release. i have the PnP book Cyberpunk 2020 but for people who preordered, perhaps making the digital copy of the PnP game available would be really cool.

having gotten a feel for CDPR the last decade, i think they'll try to release something on 16 april.

What's stopping CDPR from doing exactly this? We could busy ourselves with making our perfect V.

making demos separate from the main game is difficult and time consuming. so separating a feature of the game from that game would be a not-insignificant task. combined with whatever reason they delayed it, and the strain that remote work on the game (due to the pandemic precautions in place) is causing while they're trying to optimise the whole game...they've got a lot on their hands i'm imagining
