I know it, you know it, they and the shareholders know it.
Can you have fun with a broken, glitch game? Yes, absolutely.
Can you patch broken games? Yes. I got No Man's Sky day 1. (Never got over that disappointment, though!)

Don't defend a state of things that nobody in charge pretends is acceptable.

Void Eclipse: I listened to the first minutes of the call, and short story - good launch and good feedback on PC and next-gen consoles, bad launch on past-gen consoles (ps4, xb1). It was obvious. Though you are trying to manipulate information and convince us that the picture has only black shades. Doubtful that you will succeed in your hate hype thing.
If you are not willing to trust the evidence of your own eyes and ears, there is simply nothing for me to say.
I was speaking about my own experience with this game I preordered believing in the integrity of CDPR.
When did I ever say that everyone must be convinced to hate this game? I got no problem with you for liking a broken game. You can have fun however you want. You can spend 60 bucks on whatever you want.

I was talking about my personal journey through Cyberpunk and how CDPR acted through all of it.
There were things I felt needed to be said so I said them. Everyone can decide where the truth lies.
It was not obvious to me that this game would launch the way it did and I would have made different decision had I known.

FallenHeroX1: I have a feeling of sadness when they say that the devs were playtesting from home because of covid. Don't know why. Guess it just reminds me that with all the hype and expectations, these are only human beings, I'm having a ton of fun with the game btw. Wish CDPR just stayed a PC developer, it's clear that consoles are too much for them and it would suit them better to have another team port the game after PC release has been fully patched. Last gen owners lose, CDPR gets their name dragged through the mud and the greedy investors don't care about either us or the team. They just want their checks. Capitilism.
I agree. I think it's important to remember that these talented developers/artists were not part of this, and in fact have managed to create something beautiful and a great core that has the potential to be more.

PC version actually works really good, no game breaking bugs so far, but what I can't wrap my head around is that CDPR went away from "it's finished when it's finished", and not many weeks ago the CEO said straight up that it ran "surprisingly well" on last-gen consoles.

-EDIT: And yeah, they denied any of the testers to use their own footage to showcase the game. Even YongYea said he never had anything that were this restrictive before.-

Some in the the upper management, CEOs, and/or the shareholders must have been out to hurt the company. No sane person would actively kill their own reputation like that unless they had something gain to from it. And then they literally speed ran a "NMS"/"Blizzard" here and went from hero to zero in 1 hour.

Naoya8: Well, we PAID for this game. We have a right to complain about a broken product.
Its a 1.0 open world game of course its broken. I knew this was gonna happen and you would have to wait for v1.28 to enjoy this. On twitter they stated to release 2 huge patches on january and february that should solve most problems. Till then, play something thats been patched out. Like kingdom come ;)

Yeah, I trust my eyes and ears. I completed the first playthrough last morning and got nothing outrageous during all 50 hours I got on record. Who do I trust, repeat it please, my eyes or some stranger in the internet?

Good for you. People are different. PCs are different.
Different experiences do not invalidate each other and shouldn't make constructive criticism impossible.

Yet you generalized the situation in the thread name. Specify who are "us all" or add a footnote, stating, that CDPR didn't fail me and I am good. I won't have any complaints then.

Agreed. Don't tell me how I feel about the game, or speak for me in any way shape or form.

Did CDPR fail you, apparently, but they didn't fail me. Game works fine, sure their are bugs but nothing game breaking, but that's my own experience, so I don't see how they failed me.

Just because you're an unhappy git don't speak for me.
In my 20+ years of playing video games I have never before refunded a game. Not sure how much of an "unhappy git" I am. After listening to the full emergency conference, the title was my way of paraphrasing the content of what I heard.

Even if you got your money's worth out of the game, CDPR's ability to deliver on it and future projects was impacted by decisions management has made. So, whether you are happy with Cyberpunk 2077 or not, a CDPR fan or not, something went wrong here that changes things for everyone. That was my reasoning behind the title.

Oh, I can enjoy the game despite those bugs (I've spent my childhood playing Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Skyrim...), since I like the setting (cyberpunk is my fav setting, though CDPR's vision is maybe a bit too bland) and I really enjoy various stories and characters in my native (Polish) dubbing.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is also really good (again, very familiar landscapes and when I wasn't playing Bethesda's games, I was wandering in nearby woods playing essentially a children's idea of survival game with gathering and crafting various stuff :D). I just wanted to play some sci-fi though (I've played Monster Hunter and the Witcher before).

I may want to replay Deus Ex HR though (also cyberpunk action-shooter with strong narrative design but with less bugs and more focused gameplay).
Actually this guy says it better and lists all that were promised: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PglzxlvSac

Anyone who says there are no bugs and glitches has not played the game and is obviously just a shill.

Nice, Im waiting for KCD2 alot.

This is indeed strange project, sometimes it feels like this was meant to be online game, it has that vibe, maybe they started it as MMO? If they started it as MMO, it would make sense why they built new engine.

Meh, I am enjoying the game quite a bit. Sure, I wish it wasn't as buggy but I don't regret my purchase.

True, there are bugs and glitches, but you think with all the crying you people do about the game, you'd honestly think the messiah had just died in your arms. Anyone who thinks that a just released game wouldn't have bugs and glitches was seriously deluding themselves.

Of course, every game has bugs and problems, but you must not forget, this game took 8 years to make, we expected at least a game with features that were announced, not when features get halfway gut through the development, also don't forget they marketed this game as an RPG game, now they are marketing it as action-adventure now.

Don't get me wrong the game is nice, something to do during these hard times, but the number of bugs, problems, and performance issues in this game is not normal, especially for a company that I had soo much trust into
