Hello,
I've tried everything I've found to update cyberpunk to the latest patch, the one after 1.5, but sometimes Gog downloads 39.50gb, sometimes 13.50gbs, sometimes 5.60gbs and depending on what it downloads it gets stuck downloading or applying patches. Problem is I can't even stop automatic updates or uninstall the game to do a fresh install because those options are greyed out and not usable.

So anyone have a suggestion on what to do?

I don't think anyone knows what is going on. Especially CDPR. I think they may have reverted the game to the previous version... maybe, since their 1.5 cluster f screwed so many people over. I can't get my game to work because I don't know what version of the mods to use. And I am sick of dealing with it. It'd be nice if they let us know what is going on. I haven't checked yet this morning, so maybe they did. Doubtful.

get the update directly from the download page. it is now listed as "Patch (1.5 to Hotfix 1.5)" with around 5 GB. You can use that to install it directly to the game dir without need for Galaxy.

edit:

lol forget it. the patch fails with an error and says "check the log". there is no log -_-

Where do I find the download page? Can't find it on Cyberpunk website or GoG website.

Go on gog.com and on your profile name on top of the page > games > Cyberpunk 2077
then a window should open with the downloads.

Edit: nevermind it's 3 parts the 1.5 to hotfix

do you need to execute the 3 files in a specific order?
or should i just redownload the whole game and thus get 1.5 hotfix?

They are an exe and 2 .bin files so I think when you start the exe then it searches for the bins.

Well at least your update worked, mine is stuck at 3% just like the one trough Gog.

So it seems I've solved this issue by removing from their folders all the files above. Start Gog and Cyberpunk should be like it's not installed, then terminate Gog and put back the files in their folders. Restart Gog and Cyberpunk will be still uninstalled, start installation and Gog will check all the files without downloading anything ( if they are already updated ) and then the game will be installed and updated and won't try to download or update again getting stuck.

Now I only need a couple hours to see if the game runs lol...

Please don't. You can deactivate Galaxy if you like but I prefer GOG to stay alive ;)

I get nearly the same error messages. The exact same list, just with one more file: lang_it_voice.archive
