Sinafey86: disable GOG overlay, and smartscreen, those might help, if u truely updated drivers and windows

i have also seen dude manually allocating disk space according to RAM for extra calc space, someone also posted manual settings to disable vsync, or shadow cache...just keep trying guys, ull get it

I just cannot figure out what the problem is. I have been trying for hours now. the game just doesn't launches. I have tried repairing the game like 10 times now. I don't know what to do. if you know just tell if the problem is from my side or theirs?
Edit: I just tried launching it from the bin folder and it says "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program might fix this." i searched in my quarantine files in quick heal but did not find anything.

It's not working for me either, I tried to reinstall, fix install, used different drives, SSD, HDD, run it manualy, all I get is "play" button actived, I press it for a momement it goes 'unactive', nothing happens and then "play" button is again active, and so on, and so on.

I've tried solutions from their site:

Seems there is a problem with GOG launcher, what helped for me was launching the .exe directly in the bin folder of the game.
GOG Galaxy\Games\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\Cyberpunk2077.exe

Same issue can’t play the game. I would like a refund GOG thanks for being happy to take my pre-order money and not making sure your pre-download works for everyone

None of these solutions have worked. It shouldn't be this complicated to make something you've bought work

Yes and it did not work, something is wrong with their launchers download. Shouldn’t have tried to support the company that delays a game like this, next time will be purchased from steam

Im sorry for that, i was able to "punch a hole" to their server with that, and get my final download

same problem, checked drivers, did reset, tried the direct exe file... I wish I had bought it from steam

Found a solution!

I had the same issue as some of the people here where nothing was working.
I'd click play, it would grey out the button, sync, sync again and nothing.

I tried launching the .exe file directly and would get some missing file error.

I did a visual C++ update and it worked!
