I submitted a support ticket like 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard anything from GOG. Does anyone else have this problem? If I click on the free dlc button below each of the DLC it just says you need to update. when I put my mouse on top of that it says "you need to update your game to the newest patch available 1.6". Does anyone know how to fix this? Obviously patch 1.61 is newer than 1.6 but the client doesn't seem to understand that. Honestly makes me wish I bought the game on steam.
I just bought the game, and yes it says You need to update... from 1.3 to 1.6 for me.
So this means i can't install and play any of the free DLCs? Lol
I have the same.

But,

one of those DLC's is the arcade machine with Roach and i have that in my game so it could very well be that the DLC's are in fact installed regardless of what Galaxy says,

Edit: Another DLC is changing V's looks at apartment mirrors . Another is Johnny's alternate look. I also have them in my game.

I guess the DLC's are installed and Galaxy is just being weird about it.

@ Nurasassin

Which DLCs are you referring to?
https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/dlc

CP77 doesn't contain anything that I would describe as "DownLoadable Content (DLC)". Only additional features added into the game and released freely within the various patches.

DLCs that I know of:
- New apartments.
- New firearms (knives in 1.6)
- Alternate look for Johnny.
- A new vehicle.
- Change look in the mirror.

None of this requires any additional downloads, so if you're on the 1.6 / 1.6.1 patch, you already have all of this content installed.

You may not be able to find it, depending on how far into the game you are, because some of it got mission / progression requirements before automatic ingame activation.

And if GoG Galaxy gives you grief with the patching, just download the 1.6.1 offline patch and install it manually.

This is what I'm referring to.(picture attached) I just reinstalled the game after a long hiatus so I just installed version 1.61 of the game, I didn't update from 1.6 or anything. Are you saying that even though GOG says I'm on the wrong version the content will be there anyway?

Maybe, I haven't checked as I wanted to have everything installed before I started a new run through of the game. But there isn't any place for me to click download or install on the free DLCs and it just says that I'm on the wrong version 1.61 instead of 1.6.

Which version does the game say you have? You get a number on the botton-left of the main menu screen.

Have you come to Act 2 of the game? [Spoiler alert]

If so, there is a way to check, by finding one of the new "Edgerunners" 1.6 weapons (only 1.6+ specific content I know of).
Go to City Center, where the 2 giant holographic fish are circling. Hidden in some bushes next to one of the ascending walkways, you'll find the unique "Guts" Carnage shotgun (Rebecca's gun).

I understand, it's the same for me, i can't click anywhere to download and it says "You need to update" but the content in question was installed as part of the base game and it's available in game.

In the att. pic you can see what it says in regards to the arcade machine "DLC" - that's in my game regardless of what Galaxy says.

I haven't gone over the entire list yet but i'm willing to bet that everything on that list is installed with the base game.

-Edgerunners content
-Transmog Customization - check
-Added Side Missions
-New Arcade Mini-Game - check
-New Weapons Melee
-New Weapons Firearms
-Photomode Updates
-Neon Rims for Motorcycles
-V's New Apartments
-Budget Arms Guillotine
-Change V's Appearance - check
-Johnny Silverhand Photo Mode
-Muzzle Brakes
-Darra Polytechic Umbra
-Weapon Scopes
-Alternate Johnny Silverhand's Appearance - check (this is a main menu setting)
-V's New Jackets
-Archer "Quartz" Bandit

Ok, if it's just a case of it not registering then thanks for letting me know.

When I boot up the game in the main menu under the exit button it says 1.61.
I haven't made a new save yet because I was worried the content wasn't installed since gog says I'm on the wrong patch but I'll make a new save and see if it is or isn't, better then waiting on support forever.
