From the main apartment I purchased the Japantown Apartment.
I went in, up the elevator and at the apartment level the elevator doors refuse to open - no access.

Anyone else having this issue.

Back to the main apartment, it says I already rented it.. not like I can buy it again to reset the game. I'd have to restart the entire game.

Any ideas?

When I purchased it I did so by buying the key to it directly from the reception. I am not sure but maybe you'll have to get this key as well if you rented the appartment from your main appartment's computer.

It is because there is no power to several parts of he building, those are the elevator doors the secret room in the apartment and an access vent on the outer front 1st floor. You need to complete GIG "Greed never pays" to get power to those locations then you have access to everything
