For whatever reason; this 2.02 to 2.1 update - which is only 27GB in size is requiring over 300GB to update a 57GB game.

So, sense my SSD "only" has 314GB free I cannot update the game using the manually downloaded update.

Same here, now I have to download the whole game again to bypass this :\

Yeah, I started to let GoG Galaxy app update the game itself instead [I have the GoG Galaxy program, but like downloading the games/patches manually for backup]-- but don't feel like letting it download the 27GB update again right now. Maybe another day. lol
I am running on Wine+Linux and there is error. It should require ~10 times less (based on the downloaded patch)

That's weird. It required 43 GB for me. It's still a lot, of course, but nowhere near what it required in your case. I thought it would be the same for everyone coming from 2.02 version.

The only way I can ever get the new updates these days is by reinstalling. GOG really needs to fix this.

Yeah, kind find it funny how much they want to "tout" GoG; but these past two updates have been spotting/crappy with this game here on GoG. ><

I haven't been in much of a mood to play Cyberpunk lately anyways - but thought about trying it. But, now I need to decided if I want to bother trying to let GoG Galaxy update or not; seeing as it will have to download the 27GB update again anyways.

I have the same problem. I have submitted a bug report to GOG support. Hopefully they can figure out the issue.

Hopefully they will fix the patch/update quickly.

I just went ahead and had GoG Galaxy update the game and it worked fine. I'll just re-download the whole game/installer (version 2.1) some other day.
