I'm guessing he had an SSD and has completed patching.

I'm at 60% on a HDD.

SSD can be had for less than the price of this game why no SSD

I built this computer with HDD in mind, so lots of ram.
Basically all the programs that are loaded load slow at first and then stay resident in memory till shutdown.
This makes it super fast to re-start say firefox or whatever if I need to.

Also just checked a little while ago because of another thread and a 1TB ssd is 139.99 here at minimum... they get really crazy price wise here.
I don't want to drop 140$ just to be a little faster.

Ok, after using my favorite file scanner TreeSize I was able to shuffle some temporary files around to clear the space on my OS SSD for the game. I gave the C drive 106gb just to be sure. I guess it's time to get an NvME. My 2TB 7200rpm doesn't cut it for Cyberpunk 2077. Game, imo, thrives on SSD.

Standard SSD 512gb for current games you're going to play and move them off once you've finished etc certain titles with Texture pop in and that as they read from the device few seconds just before will remove some stutter and increase frame times in certain instances.

Crucial MX500 500GB for $80ish CAD
You will notice the difference in browser load times also if you flipped the OS over to an SSD use the mechanical for storage.

Where are you finding a 1TB for 80 bucks?
and is it SATA or m.2?
It's 140$ for a 1TB SATA here and the lowest 1TB M.2 is 200$ :-(

500Gb would be fine for some games I didn't say 1Tb

Running M.2 my self and damn that makes a huge difference using NVME vs sata night and day speed difference.

Look for Kingston A2000 1TB M.2 - I just bought this for the equivalent of about 150$, pretty good for the price, but it must be cheaper in Canada.
Just looked it up on Amazon.ca - 144 CDN.

For other guy not my self not running short of storage options my self but using an SSD will boost so much about a machine, Cheap Laptops people have upgrade with a $40 SSD put their old mech drive in a caddy gives laptop new life extra run time also.
Anyone else not getting the blue dot for updates that have been added since last download under /account for the offline installers?

I am wondering if this is everywhere, something they stopped supporting for the offline stuff or just this game..
