Please post all your bug reports here so we can keep them in one place. I'll try to keep a list of active ones in the first post so they don't get reported multiple times.

ACTIVE BUGS:
• Walking on the exit door won't trigger the "Exit level" sequence
• You can't use the 'q' letter in level editor text boxes.
• When finishing a level inside the level editor, the level will be erased sometimes (make sure you save your level before playtesting until fix is found)

When using an Xbox One controller, using the D-Pad to cycle through the menu options results in inverted controls. Analog stick works fine

This one's minor, the achievement description in Galaxy for Crystal King says to collect 3000 crystals, in-game it says it needs 5000 crystals, and I don't think there are enough crystals between all 4 episodes to get 5000.

Sorry about that, it's a known issue and it should be fixed today!

5000 Crystals is correct number, GOG description should be fixed now. There are not enough crystals for one playthrough but keep in mind that number increases every time you finish a level (even if you load the game and play the level again).
Not a bug per se but the hit detection of exit doors can be wonky if you need to exit by jumping on them or the like. In one of the stages in the first episode you have to exit by jumping on the door located in a pit. I had to jump on top of them a bunch of times for the exit to be triggered.

I do not mind but perhaps somebody going for time score could.

Thanks!
I have mapped my movement controls to WASD and noticed two issues:
1. Movement reverts to the arrow keys when in reversed gravity, WASD don't work until regular gravity is restored
2. Even in normal gravity, the arrow keys are still mapped as secondary inputs. Probably not an issue for most people, but I like to have jump on up and my weapon on left arrow. The current behavior causes my character to walk (and face) left whenever I use my weapon.

Note: I'm running the game on Linux using wine

Level editor: Erasing tiles (shift+click) does not flag the level as unsaved. (I.E. it does not enable the save button.)
I'm not sure how to best identify each level, but there is a bug in the level located near the lower left corner of Episode 1.

To know which one I'm talking about, once you're at the bottom of the shaft by riding the elevator on the right hand side of the hub all the way down, you'll then go all the way to the opposite end. The level in question is the next one up on the left hand side, above the lowest located level. It has a bunch of chains and very few enemies in it.

The bug is when you're trying to exit the level. During my playthrough, Milo was able to walk on top of the door without triggering the exit animation. I had to jump on it in order for it to trigger properly.

Though the patch notes describe the issue with the D-Pad being fixed, it's still present in v1.0.1 of the game.

Disregard

Crystal Caves Episode 2, Level 1 (this is the first door you come to if you follow the sign pointing towards the mine)

In the attached screenshot, there's seemingly no way to grab that red gem. If you jump across from where I'm standing, there is an invisible block below the corner of the pipe that prevents you from reaching it (I noticed it by holding down the jump button and watching as Mylo never actually touches the corner of the pipe) . If you come at it from the other side, you either fall off the ledge or you end up jumping up to the ledge above.

Note: Comparing it to the original, I've realized that the invisible blocks were intentional as they were found at every pipe junction. I was finally able to catch the gem by jumping off the pipe from the other side at the last second.

However, the exit placement for this stage is bugged as the door is located beyond the bottom level boundary.

Since this afternoon my saved games for Crystal Caves HD are gone. Maybe there has been an update, I also noticed that the start logo changed?
In GOG Galaxy I also noticed that you can save your game saves to the cloud now, I am not sure if that is a new feature that caused the disappearance of saves?
Is there anywhere on my hard drive where I can search for my saves?
I had the first three worlds finished :(
It seems like the last update messed up save location but your saves should be ok.
There is a new update that will bring your old saves back.

For future reference, GOG save games are always here (GOG cloud will sync them here):
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\Apogee Software\Crystal Caves HD\Gog\Saves

Sorry for the trouble!

From which side did you jump, from the left or the right?

I tried ages to reach this gem.
In one gameplay video (of the original DOS game) the guy activates a cheat code to reach that gem and in the comments everyone agrees that this is a bug and the gem is impossible reach without the cheat code.

Edit: Ok, finally managed to grab the gem by jumping from the left side. But it still was borderline...
