Actually after looking more into this, it appears that maybe not all not all forms of SecuROM are blocked on Windows 10, but most are. Instead all forms SafeDisc DRM are blocked. Still the point remains, these look to be nothing more than dummy registry entries. No actual SecuROM appears to be installed in the GOG version.

That doesn't add up then. SecuROM does not work on Windows 10 according to MS, it actually doesn't even work on Windows 7 or 8 either if your have gotten the latest updates. But you can got through some steps to force it.
