09167: So I have a feeling this is not supposed to happen, I've only started the game but after the first floor is complete and I go downstairs my music just stops playing altogether, how can this be fixed or is it already in the works?

Hmm it sounds like you might be having an audio issue. What OS are you using?
Since the game won't start the first thing I'd suggest is manually deleting it and reinstalling it. Then start the game, hit F7 once, close the game, re-open it, and cause the issue.
Then send your log file to: help at braceyourselfgames dot com. Log files can be found by right clicking the game in your Steam Library and selecting "properties" at the bottom of the list. Select the "local files" tab and click "browse local files". A window will open up, in that window there is a folder called logs.
I want to confirm that it's an audio issue. If it is you might have a faulty sound driver or an atypical audio setup. You should try altering your Windows (assuming that's the OS you are using) settings to use a different audio device, if your machine has one.
