So I read that the "openglnb" mode is the best one to use with this game, and ran the "graphic mode setup.exe" in my no remorse folder to set the mode. But when I hit "save" I get "game not installed." I'm on Win7 and the game is installed in C:\games. Any ideas, or can someone tell me how to set this mode in the .conf file directly?

I've run into the problem that the setup doesn't actually save the graphic mode I chose, manually editing the conf file with notepad I can't even change it unless I run notepad as an admin.

That would be because you've installed into a protected folder - Program Files (x86) would be my guess. This happens a lot with the DOSBox games where settings don't hold or savegames go missing. Best advice is to install outside of Program Files, such as C:\Games\ or something.

Definitely permissions then. I know from past threads that GOG recommend running the installers as administrator. The newer GOG v2 installer versions seem to request this anyway, and recently it has been seen that GOG games installed ask for administrator privileges when you run them. All this is in order to try to prevent known issues with UAC and DEP on newer Windows OSes. I wonder if the latest Crusader installers have set the files to require administrator privileges and this is why you are getting this?
