I was wondering about the present status of the next update. How much work is still left and what changes/fixes/improvements the next patch is likely to contain? Can you give any estimates about the release date of the patch?
Currently, we're working on translating a number of Japanese "super replays". These are example demos of high level scoring play in Crimzon Clover, and are accompanied with the player's commentary in the form of a strategy guide PDF document. Editing the documents is a time consuming process, but I hope to have it done by the end of the month.

The next CC update will most likely launch at the same time as the upcoming DLC contents, and will include minor fixes and adjustments to the base program so that the new content will work.
Sounds fascinating! Thank you for letting me know.
will the gog version also get the update and the additional content?

kassj0peja: will the gog version also get the update and the additional content?
I thought that the GOG.com version would get the latest update about the same time as the Steam release. And I found out just recently that the Steam version was updated a month ago. I certainly would like to get an explanation for this. I know that GOG.com does have additional checking process for patches from developer/publisher, but a month's delay still sounds bit high. Especially since the GOG.com version of CC:WI didn't get the earlier 1.04 update.

Seconded.

If the game keeps not being updated it will end up giving the publisher a bad reputation.

BlackbirdHM: *snap*
Uh, it is mid-August... Blackbird, is there any progress/news that you could share with us?
Hey folks! I know it's been a while. An update on progress: We decided to add Polish localization to the patch, and it made sense to complete that before submitting the final build to GOG. It's taken a while, but we're a bit closer now.

Ah great news! Thanks for keeping us posted, honestly I was starting to think that you abandoned ship :) Since there is no game-breaking bug or anything that requires immediate attention, we should be fine as long as there is progress.

PS. I know you probably can't discuss these 'business' matters here, but just wanted to say that there is a bunch of GOGgers still hoping for those *Zeal releases here. Cheers!
Any word on the latest update, if at all?
....any word on the patch? I want to see how these people are playing this game to get "super high-scores".

I got 374 BILLION points once, that's a big number....but from what I understand that is quite a low score....honestly this is the only game I've ever played where that is considered "crap".

In fact, there is one depressing video I saw where someone got more than this on the first level alone.

Great game.....patch?!

lance8765: I think they've abandoned us at this point.

The same thing happened with the Steam version of Sine Mora, their devs promised a patch within a couple of weeks, but that was three years ago, and eventually, the company closed and the IP was bought by someone else who didn't make anything out of it.

Of course i hope that's not the case.... but still.
Sine Mora was bought by Nordic Games and they revived older IPs so maybe there is hope that we will get this patch. But first we need the game here on gog.
Feels like they've pretty much abandoned GOG...

...and to be honest, with GOG's frankly disgusting attitude towards console/arcade genres and subsequent rejection of their Cave catalog, I can't actually blame them

lance8765: GOG refused CAVE games? This is pitiful... it's a miracle they're coming to PC!
Yep, thought it was pretty much common knowledge here. GOG turned down Mushihimesama because it was deemed "too niche". ReynardFox knows more of the details, so he can fill you in better.

lance8765: I'm 100% certain to have already heard this excuse with another game... which i don't remember at the moment, though.
Too niche has become a bit of a running joke on the forums now thanks to this and other unfathomable curation decisions by GOG.
