Exactly my question too.
The download page doesn't have any notifications or advice about this.

And since we are here: There are also no available Linux files.

I hope it was just a funny oversight.
:)
I have purchased this game because I wanted to play it on Mac OS. At the time of purchase there was Windows Mac and Linux version in the description. And now? Only Windows? Can I cancel my purchase?

I am guessing that yes, we can cancel our orders.
I took screencaptures of the game when it said it was for the 3 OS, in case we need to show GOG, but I think they know, so just ask them for a refund.
I'll do the same.

Pity, it looked interesting and perfect for Halloween.
:(
On Steam the game is available for Win, Mac and Linux:

What is going on here on gog.com?

I really don't know. I just stopped asking that question a while back because it does nothing but hurt my head.
There are a TON of games on Steam that publishers think GOG users shouldn't get complete. And by that I mean getting the Linux and Mac versions.
I have no idea if there is even something that can be called a rationale behind such decisions. There must be reasons, just not rational ones.
Piracy? That would be laughable since all games on Steam are pirated non-stop. App Store exclusivity? Then they should not be able to sell them on Steam either. Different companies doing the transcodes to Mac and Linux so rights are spread out? Some, yes, but most definitely not all. A technical nightmare to keep up with the ever more eccentric MacOS? Sure, but then why the games are not recalled from Steam too?

I am guessing that the reason is, as always, not a singular one but a mix of all.

In any case it is as Little Misfortune says: Yikes forever!
Hey Lebostein.
Here are the screencaps I took of the game page and the download page, in case you need them to show that the game was misadvertised. If you end up asking for a refund.

Happy Halloween.

Hi guys,
same here: I purchased the game to play it on my trusty Linux PC, but only Windows installer was available.
I saved in archive.org a copy of the Google cache showing that bot Mac and Linux version were listed, as well as the retrieval date (attached screenshot, since I cannot post link).
Regards,

Thanks a lot fmarchesano!
I already asked for a refund and got a letter on October 29th (which I promptly answered) asking if a GOG Wallet refund was OK, to wich I agreed.
But... so far nothing.
Pity because the Halloween sale is gone and I had planned to use than credit to buy another spooky game.
Welp... I guess there's nothing else to do but wait.
:/
Same story here (Purchased for Linux, only Windows option available to download). I sent a message to customer service, but the response said it could take 4 weeks for them to get back to me.

I'm hoping it's just an oversight with the way they set up the download page, and that at some point soon they'll put up the links for the Linux version download.
All Icons are back and at least the Linux download is available now (I just downloaded it). :-)
Looks like the Mac users need a little more patience though since at least the installer is still missing on the download page.

Yup! Just saw that right now.
Great. At least now there is hope.
Linux people enjoy!

So finally we are all happy about the game we bought having installers for the OS we own. It took maybe 2 weeks but it was done. Good job GOG good job devs.

Seemed obvious to me that that was the reason the refund I asked for, about 12 days before, hadn't been applied. They knew the installers were comming and they held our reimbursements.
Yeeeey, we have our game !
So the next chain of events went as expected:
Downloaded.
Installed.
Played game.
Got refund.
Got game removed from library.

...what the...whot?

A pretty good joke if life was a movie.
Looks as if they tried superhard to ambush a free game on me.
So now I will have to do the weirdest thing and ask GOG to un-refund me. Or to let me refund them? Or un-remove both game and refund. I don't know, it gets pretty messy, and a better mess couldn't have happened on purpose.

Welp, here we go again, but backwards now.

Genial "Creepy Tale" works well on Linux Mint, It is in 64-Bit.
I thought for a moment that maybe the problem was still there.

Ps:I don't know if you know, we have a very handy "print screen" feature, only for Linux.
Press [Shift] + [print screen] and you select with a smile the part of the screen you are interested in ;)
