I'm running Creatures: The Albian Years on a Windows 7 laptop. When I play C1 it seems that the object injector is the older version from the original game as there is no option to remove objects once they have been injected. Trying to install the new injector does not work because I think the files will be all in different places/formats due to it not being vanilla C1. I was wondering if anyone had worked out how to get the new object injector in C1 of Albian years?

Great to see another person playing Creatures 1! Have you installed the Creatures Remastered Patch? This is necessary to allow all COBs to work properly and inject correctly. The injector should then give you the option of only choosing COB files from the directory you've chosen. However, manually typing in the .RCB file name will effectively remove the object. Keep in mind, though, that not all C1 COBs come with removal files, and some of these have different names. It's a bit of a pain, but as long as you know the correct file name from browsing through your folder, typing it in should do the trick.

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to play Creatures 1 in Windows 7 and every time I try and use the object injector the game freezes up and shuts down. :( - I really wanted to install the teaching toy. Thanks!

I Installed the patch (I think? The installer is quite strange) but I still cannot inject COBs into my world. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

I am also having this issue. No objects appear in my injector. (I think) I managed to install the patch, but highly unclear whether it worked... Did anyone manage to solve this issue?
