Hi!
I'm so excited- now have Creatures again after about 25 years!!

I'm running it on Windows 10 and downloaded 2 COBs : one to make the Grendel nice (as he keeps hanging out by the incubator and won't go away) and the other to create a cheese bunting thing as all the cheese is gone (and the health kit isn't working, a common problem on windows 10, I think?)

I've extracted the COB files from the zip folder and moved them into the Creatures folder in My Documents but nothing has changed - bad grendel, no cheese. I originally had to select what programme to open with and I'd selected the Creatures icon but now when you double click on the file in the folder it just launches the GOG interface...

Any ideas/ tips?

Oh- since I've added the COBs to the folder the world injector is now empty of all items (it had loads of goodies in it before). Not sure if that's related?

When you are playing C1, you need to choose the object injector kit (looks like three circles, red, green and blue, linked to each other). There's a brief discussion of it here: https://youtu.be/QDMR8ykjOvc?t=800 You need to choose the cob you want to add it into the world.

Some people have reported that the C1 injector works on Windows 10, however, I am not so lucky. If the injector kit doesn't work for you, you might like to try the COE fan-made program: https://creatures.wiki/Creatures_Object_Editor which allows for cob injection.

You might need the object injector update if you don't already have it?
I can't post a link but I believe it's easy enough to find on google?
