In Creatures Exodus there`s a gene splicer, but I simply can`t find out how to use it. The ingame help says that i have to put a creature in each of the to pods, but that doesn`t seem to be possible, when I click on one pod, it opens for a second and closes again immediately, no time to pick up a creature and put it in. Something is clearly wrong. Either I missed something, or I have a bug.

I think you also need power and possibly a power up, but I wouldn't know of either of those things.

Put the creature near the pod and then click the pod: the pod will then swallow the creature ready for splicing.
