Themken: Use the game speed slider to slow down. It should be slow enough and if not, you may prefer turn based strategy instead.

I wonder if we can import the European Wars campaign into one of the later version (Art of War, Back to War) as those have improved gameplay in several ways and also made some changes as to make an easy game easier for beginners.

Dazza3003: I also had the same issue with altering the music level - I just lower the speaker volume instead.
