I played the demo on my Win 7 PC. Does the finished game also run on Win 7 (64-bit)?

It doesn't run on my system, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit. When I run the latest version (1.0.0.10-e4d6), I get a black screen for about 45 seconds before the game closes itself with no error messages.
