Hello,

I just saw an "impossible to say no" offer. Basically Commandos 2 + 3 for 1 €.

Please, did someone try to run them on Windows 10? There is no other chance to play them on Win 7 neither 8 as my computers were provided with Win 10 and I won't step back to Win 7/8 just for playing one/two games...

If not, will be there a chance/upgrade in the future to make them playable on the aforementioned system?

Thank you and have a great gaming!

SolidoESP
Commandos 2 is running fine under Win10 for me. I haven't tried Commandos 3 yet.

I think there's something about the language. Does your Windows10 have English or just polish?
Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I want to know if there is an update on how're these games running in Windows 10. I have both of them in Steam but I can't make them run (sometimes Commandos 2 runs but is like 1 in 50 attempts) so I'm wondering if the GoG versions run better

I'm having all 3 games installed on win10 x64 build 16299.192 and a GTX960 and the only one that did not work out of the box was commandos 2. you can make it run via the HD Project Patch: http://hdproject.altervista.org/commandos2/
makes the game really enjoyable with the 1080p resolution.

commandos 3 worked like i said, but loading screens and the sniper rilfe scope are bugged with messy colors (old and broken directx transparency effect i guess, see here:

but there is a fix out there for that. looking it up right now... ah there you go:
https://www.gog.com/forum/commandos_series/commandos_3_unofficial_patch_for_windows_88110
it also takes care of some crashes i see

i guess they work with both version (steam/gog) so you dont need the gog version specifically. i know steams not always happy about "outside" patches so you should deactivate updates for the game.
