Out of all the non-compatible games I've tried to get working on my Windows 8 laptop, this one is easily the most non-functional. So has anyone here tried to get this to work with Windows 10, and how much success have you had?

Failing that, does anyone know how to make it functional on Windows 8? (At best, I can manage a 640 x 480 display with about 10fps and severe mouse lag.)

some things to try

-set game compatibility mode to xp sp3

-turn all off all your graphics settings for your card for this game profile to off. AA causes problems with older games.

-you can leave on anisotropic filtering to high makes the game look good.

-turn off vsync!

-delete the prefs file in your main directory as it will give you a new graphics option when started again

Hi, may be you finally managed to make it work, but confronted with the same problem with Windows8, I found a very easy solution: just use the shortcut in your game folder, and right-clic start in admin mode, with compatibility set to windows XPSP3. works great for me.

Well concerning as of 7/16/2019, GoG redid the games for win10 iand looking at your setting i think you'll be fin with the remastered 3 games.
