Hi guys,

I was wondering, any chance I can play this gem on my chromebook? I've got like 16 gb of ssd space so I could easily store it on my laptop and I've got dosbox installed, but Im not sure which Installer (windows, mac, linux) to use or if it is even possible.

Any thoughts?

If you have DOSBox running, then you should be able to play it.

I don't know much about Chrome OS, but as it is Linux-based, it's at least worth a try if the Linux download will run out of the box. Otherwise, it should just be a matter of copying the game files and running the executable through DOSBox.
IT WORKED! Couldn't be happier.

In case someone else want to run Colonization on a chromebook, download the tar.gz file from the Linux install page.

Then, just follow these instructions:

(Hmm I cant put a link in my post, but if you enter the following search in google, you'll find the KLAIG site Im referring to: 'tutorial-how-to-play-old-dos-games-on')

Enjoy!!!

You can't post a link because you have low rep (you need 7or 10 I think)
