Hello
I'm pretty bummed because this game isn't running smoothly for me, even with all the visual settings turned down. This is weird because it seems to me that my computer has handled more advanced graphics. Has anyone else had this problem or have any tips?
Thanks!
What are your specs? The game is pretty demanding.
Same here. Initial cut scenes are erratic and sometimes fall behind or move ahead of the audio. I seem to be getting 10 frames per second, at best. Mouse movements are lagging as well, making it hard just to navigate the settings menu. Messing with AA, shadow settings, refresh, etc. seems to have no effect.

My setup:
Intel E6600 @ 3.06GHz
8GB DDR2 Memory
GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1GB

[edit]: Forgot to mention that I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit.

The game definitely should run smoothly on GTX560.

Sometimes the game changes your refresh rate to 24Hz, when you have your PC connected to a TV - I had this issue and when I switched refresh rate to 60Hz, the game run smoothly.

If your not able to run it with that there is no way it'll run on my computer. Darn, I was really looking forward to spending some quality time as Riddick.

I had problems on my 4-yr-old laptop. I futzed with the settings and it seemed that AA was the biggest problem. Once I turned it off, everything seemed fine. Not smooth as butter, but more than good enough to play--no slide shows anymore. Fraps shows 30fps+.

My lappy:
Core 2-Duo @ 1.83 GHz
4 GB RAM
Nvidia 8800M GTS
Win 7
Well I'm running the game fully maxed with a GTX 470 so if your having issues on anything higher I'd check your drivers etc. I'm on win 7 64bit and am getting well over 60fps.
Just updating to say that my drivers are up to date (just checked at Nvidia's site) and I just went through every single setting to see if I could get it running at playable speed. The only way I can get this game past 10-15 frames per second is by running it at 800x600, with settings on Low.

I understand that most others with different hardware have no problems with the game. It just so happens that my system has a problem running it. I run modern games all the time and rarely there are games that gives me issues, but it does happen. Hopefully there will be an update.

There won't be any updates, it's Atari we're talking about here, they have the worst record of updating new games let alone games that are 3 years old..

This may help:-
