I am getting really desperated ...
I am on my third playthrough almost in a row.
I was never having ANY problems with bugs or performance, the game run smoothly all the time.
After the Update to the Enhanced Edition there were some minor issues with the game suddenly crashing when loading a previous save game manually in-game but still no further problems with graphics, performance.
NOW on May the 4th evening I could still play without problems an beginning on the morning may 5th the game lagged and lagged and lagged, my RAM was suddenly almost maxed out and the game stays unplayable.
My Default graphic settings were High but even when i tune down everything it still stutters on all low settings you cannot even play a firefight.
I had nothing changed or installed in the meantime, my computer only did an automated update (on the evening of May4th!) with three HP Development Inc elements.
No other games are making trouble.
I even did the recent Nvida update which was explicitly for Chernobylite but nothing changed.
I dont think it can be the graphic settiung becaue i could run it so efforlessly before and it looked gorgeous.
Dous anybody have a clue?
