I have tried both the GOG version and the Steam version and the game refuses to open no matter what. I have tried the demo and it works fine. All I get is a white screen for a second or so, then I'm booted right back to my desktop. I have an RTX 3070 Windows 10 with 8 gigs of ram, so the game should be no issue. Can anyone help me with this? i have tried on Steam and no one is helping.

Thank you for the reply, but sadly nothing changed. I can play the demo fine, I can play the DOS version that comes with the remaster fine, but the actual remaster refuses to open no matter what.

I have the same issue doesn't matter what I do what settings I change if i skip the intro it crashes straight away.
The previous version before this update launched.

Edit: I can run it by changing resolution and changing it to Vulkan direct x 11 crashes straight away but every time I change a setting the screen flashes and another error box comes up Can not open settings file "chasm_config.txt"
When I click back on the game icon it goes back to the game.

Certain settings are not saved or retained like cross hair color v-sync so have to reset them everytime.
